Prayer Shawl Ministry

All are welcome to come knit or crochet prayer shawls. If you are a beginner or have never crocheted/knitted this is the place to come. We have a wonderful group of ladies who have been blessed with God given talents to share with you! We are continually making Prayer Shawls for those in need of being wrapped in God's loving arms. The shawls are given to those with health issues, for someone having a difficult time in life, or in celebration for new babies - weddings - graduations, etc. We will be meeting at a new location: Lutheran Thrift Shop, 10737 West Peoria Avenue, Sun City, AZ 85351. Next meeting is March, 22nd at 6:30pm. directions for the thrift store ... It is on the southwest corner of 107th Avenue and Peoria, behind the Walgreens.

Coffee Fellowship

Sunday morning fellowship is a GREAT opportunity for our congregation to visit with one another and welcome visitors. PLEASE consider signing up to provide refreshments on a Sunday morning of your choice. EVERYONE will appreciate it! The sign up sheet is on the table.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Overeaters Anonymous (OA)

Overeater Anonymous is a twelve step program helping those who have problems with food, meets at
Celebration every Monday, Wednesday, & and Friday at 10 am. For additional information, please call Fran at

Food Bank Saturday

On the first Saturday of each month, Celebration helps out at the Food Bank at 11115 West Nevada, Youngtown.
Volunteers work from 10 am - noon doing whatever needs to be done to help get donated food out to the community. Sometimes we bag bulk food into more manageable sizes. Sometimes we make food boxes, and we help unload a truck of donated food from a grocery store. It’s a fun time of fellowship & a great family project. All ages and abilities are welcome!

Fill the Can with Cans!

Everyday people go to bed hungry. Everyday a big plastic can sits in the Narthex at Celebration waiting
for your non-perishable food donation. Food donations are collected and delivered weekly to the Valley View Community Food Bank for distribution to the hungry families in our community. The food banks always runs short of canned fruit, canned tomato products (whole, diced, and puree), spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, tuna, breakfast cereal, spaghetti, macaroni, rice, and macaroni & cheese. You can make a difference on your next shopping trip by picking up some extra canned goods for those less fortunate. They also accept financial donations if you hate to shop!
